Being a small business ourselves, we get it - starting out is scary. It means taking a step outside the comforts of a 9-5 job and taking a leap of faith. So to make it less intimidating for you, here are our favourite #BusinessHacks for entrepreneurs, that we feel made a massive impact on our business:

1. Brand & Website:

Okay okay we know, vested interest and all. BUT having a professional logo and well-made website can make a huge difference to how potential customers view you. For eg, our website, www.samaradutt.com reflects everything we want to communicate in one go - our logo, mission, vision, approach, aesthetic sense, work experience and more. Still think it's not important? Read THIS.

2. Social Media Presence:

We wish we had done this sooner! When we first started our business, we wondered why it was so hard to get leads and how to get the word out. Until we put ourselves OUT there, people didn't even know we were open for business or the laundry list of services that we provide. So get. online. NOW.

3. Client Testimonials:

Reviews are a testimony to the quality of your work. Don't be shy to ask happy clients or customers for their thoughts on their experiences, and don't forget to put them up on your website to drive in more business. Potential customers like to feel safe, and past client's testimonials will help put any anxiety to rest.

4. Self-care:

This word has be overused and abused nowadays, but you can't deny it's importance. When you first start a small business, or set out on your entrepreneurial journey, the fire in your belly will be strong. But as the business grows, so do the tough days. So, on the days that the grind gets to you, take some time out for yourself and slow it down. Pamper yourself the way you know best, and don't forget to use that time as kindling to stoke that entrepreneurial fire once more.

Best,
